The month of August, for us, was a bag of varied initiatives. We celebrated innovations and initiatives that will impact the health of millions of lives, in one way or the other. When the world is fighting the crisis, the team at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, one of the top pharma companies in India, is working hard to impact the lives of our consumers and our society.
Our drug, Sepsivac, received the Pharma Excellence Award for being one of the most promising drugs in the fight against COVID-19. Psoriasis is a common skin disorder that affects many people. We celebrated Psoriasis Awareness month to raise awareness about the issue and break the stigma around it. Cadila Pharma also launched a new biosimilar – NuPTH for the treatment of Osteoporosis and distributed 3000 essential kits to govt. school students who were missing out on nutritious mid-day meals due to the lockdown.

Sepsivac® receives COVID-19 Pharma Excellence Award
Sepsivac®, the latest innovation by Cadila Pharmaceutical recently received the prestigious Pharma Excellence Award at the Emerging Dimensions in Pharma Excellence e-Summit organised by Express Pharma and HEAL Health Connect Solutions. This honour was awarded to Sepsivac® for being one of the most promising drugs in the fight against COVID-19.
Cadila Pharma and Akshaya Patra help 3000 students
Cadila Pharma, one of the top pharma companies in India, in association with Akshaya Patra foundation distributed kits with essential food items to the families of 3000 students in the month of July and August to continue providing healthy meals to these students.
Cadila Pharmaceuticals launches NuPTH for Osteoporosis
Ahmedabad-based Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited has announced the launch of NuPTH an Osteoporosis biosimilar of Forteo in India. The biosimilar is used for treatment of osteoporosis and in patients with increased risk of fracture.

What is Psoriasis? What causes Psoriasis? – Two important questions answered
According to the International Federation of Psoriasis Associations (IFPA), Psoriasis affects nearly 3% of the world population. Most often mistaken as a skin condition, it is an immune condition that can have a physical and psychological impact. People affected with psoriasis often face discrimination and embarrassment in public places simply because others fear that it is contagious, when in fact, it is not.
