Cadila organizes awareness rally on the occasion of World Cancer Day in Jaipur

4^th February 2020, Jaipur: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, to raise awareness for cancer, organized an awareness rally in the city of Jaipur on February 4, 2020.

This bike rally was organized as a part of the ongoing campaign “I Am and I Will” where the aim is to not only raise cancer awareness and talk about cancer symptoms but also encourage people to take action in the fight against cancer. The campaign began on 28^th January and will be continued for a month. Cadila shares tips and messages on their digital channel related to cancer and how everyone can do their bits to defeat cancer. Multiple awareness rallies have been planned across the country in association with various organizations to sensitize people about cancer patients on the occasion of World Cancer Day.

Dr Divyesh Goyal of Fortis Hospital flagged off the rally, in which more than 200 participants including bikers from Rajasthan Jawa Yezdi Club and Harley Davidson Rajasthan Chapter took part. Cyclists from Pink Pedals Group also took part in the rally.

“We encounter cases of cancer every day. When patients hear that they have cancer, they instantly lose all hope. With this awareness rally we want people to understand that cancer isn’t the end. With advanced medical technology, there is hope and cancer can be beaten. This World Cancer Day, we want to instigate hope amongst all” said Dr Divyesh Goyal, Fortis Hospital, Jaipur.
