iamicon 2020 – Journey through the years

Indravadan Ambalal Modi Innovation Conclave (iamicon) started with the journey and vision of the medicine man of India, Shri Indravadan Modi, the founder chairman of Cadila Pharmaceuticals. He believed in innovation and making quality healthcare available to all. When the country just got its freedom, Shri Indravadan Modi decided to share the burden of healthcare by setting up India’s one of the earliest pharmaceutical organizations. Established in 1951, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in India.

Innovations have always been a core part of the ethos of Cadila Pharmaceuticals. With multiple innovations such as Risorine, Polycap, Mycidac-C and Sepsivac in our portfolio, we lead the way when it comes to innovations and affordable healthcare. All our efforts, everyday are focused to keep bringing more innovative solutions to the biggest challenges in healthcare.

iamicon started with the vision of bringing the top healthcare professionals on one platform to discuss the latest innovations of the world. It was also a platform to award the students excelling in their education and had high potential in the field of healthcare. What started out with 33 cities, it then grew to 151 cities and finally global with 10 international cities. This is an evidence of how innovation only keeps on growing. This year, we have gone virtual and broken all physical barriers. Iamicon 2020 is going to be grander this year as we invite some of the best national and international speakers to talk about innovations in different therapies such as cardiology, rheumatology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, etc.
