3rd Dec, 2020
Cadila’s Commitment Stories – November 2020

Determined to transform Indian healthcare’s import-dependent scenario, Shri I A Modi dared to dream differently. Even to this day, in honour of our founder chairman’s philosophy of integrity and resilience, Cadila Pharmaceuticals continues to stand strong in difficult times and ensure best quality and affordable healthcare to people. This month we went back to our roots and remembered the values and principles which drove the Medicine Man of India, Shri I A Modi to persevere in front of all challenges and set up one of independent India‘s first pharmaceutical company.

November was a proud moment for us at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, as according to the TIPS-3 (The International Polycap Studies) polypill – commonly referred to as Polycap reduces events of cardiovascular deaths by nearly one – third. The findings were covered extensively across national and international media. We also marked the launch of our new initiative – Wake Up To Health Talks. With this initiative, we want to raise awareness about the leading healthcare challenges of the country while in conversation with top medical experts of the country. In our first episode, we talked to Dr Samyak Tiwari about mental challenges in youth. In our second episode, on the occasion of World Iron Deficiency Day, we talked to Dr Niru Kiran and Dr T S Easwari about the importance of awareness about iron deficiency in youth. This is an initiative to continue talking to the consumers about health and wellness and not giving up.

As we continue our fight with COVID virus, schools are still closed and children continue to be holed up in their homes. This month talked to the youngest members of our Cadila family to share their experiences during this pandemic and how they look at the new normal. Their determination and respect towards COVID warriors was a symbol of true resilience.

While collaborating with Indian Express to pay tribute to the COVID-19 warriors, we realized resilience can be found in all of us, as we saw the stories of people from the smallest of places doing their bits to help the community.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. Read more about how Cadila Pharmaceuticals continues to support the community unceasingly and keep working towards a stronger tomorrow.
