Cadila Pharma wins ‘Best Warehouse Workforce Award’

Ahmedabad, June 18, 2019: Shining bright amongst its peers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, Cadila Pharma Ltd won the ‘Best Warehouse Workforce Award’ at the 2^nd Annual Future Warehouses Summit and Awards 2019.

Discussing about the technological influx moving this unorganised rented warehouses and storing system towards an organised and automatized segment, this conclave saw active participation of industry leaders from FMCG, Construction, Third Party Logistics (TPL), Fashion & Retail, Finance, Military and many other sectors.

Discussing more about the award, KVR Sarma, Head, Supply Chain Management (SCM) said “Cadila is always keen to focus on leveraging the abilities of the workforce to handle stock and shipments as well as managing the storing facility. Our extensive range of finished dosage formulations manufactured and materials obtained from third parties and loan licenses are dispatched-received through our main units in Dholka and Jammu.” Cadila’s Central Ware house, facility, in Dholka has also started catering to about 100 plus direct stockiest of two divisions, across India.

With over 24 warehouses in place, the company’s warehouse workforce efficiently handles up to 1100 shippers in a single day.
