In appreciation of his magnificent contribution to the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry, Mr I.A. Modi received the Lifetime Achievement award of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from the Chief Minister Of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi in Ahmedabad on June 14, 2005.

The award has been instituted to honour individuals with their contribution from Trade, Industry, Service Sectors of Gujarat who have done exemplary work in their chosen fields and serve as icons for future generations through their accomplishments.

Reminiscing his achievement-studded journey, Mr Modi said, “Cadila's strength lies in its strict business ethics and its prized asset – human resources.”
